8/08/08  Today serves as an historic moment for our ministry as we opened our Dennis Deese Ministries, Inc. checking account (two families were the first to make the initial deposit).  In addition, we added a great deal of new material to our web site so be sure to browse the site for the new information. Finally, we added an easy sign up (below) for receiving our newsletter. 8/3/08  First conference preached in evangelism. It was a God moment! I had the great opportunity to preach at Parkers Creek Baptist Church with pastor Nathan Wilkerson in Camp meeting 08 Bible Conference that he and his dad evangelist Terry Wilkerson hosted. Brother Glen Denton and I both preached and the Holy Spirit came down. The worship was incredible under the leadership of Matthew Slemp and the choir of Silver Springs Baptist Church from Mt. Juliet, TN.  This church is on fire for the Lord and I believe tonight is going to have positive eternal consequences. Brother Glen Denton preached with a special anointing on the temperature of the Christian. It was one of the greatest messages I've heard in my 26 years as a Christian. Other conference speakers included: Dr. Jeff Laborg, Braxton Hunter, Evangelist Ronnie Owens, Evangelist Sam Wolfe, Steve Flockhart and evangelist Terry Wilkerson.

7/31/08  We are now officially Incorporated. What does this mean? All gifts received made payable to Dennis Deese Ministries, Inc. are now tax deductable. We are applying for our tax exempt status but once we are approved, we can go back as much as 15 months with the tax exempt status. The only way your gifts would not be deductable is if we were not approved. Our C.P.A. has assured us there should be no reason for us not to be approved. Thus, if you want your gifts to be tax deductable, then you would need to make them payable to Dennis  Deese Ministries, Inc.    All gifts made payable to Dennis, Teri or Avery Deese are not tax deductable and we do not have to pay taxes for individual gifts (with limitations).

7/24/08  Teri and Dennis celebrate 31 years of marriage.  He's very thankful for having a devoted wife, a godly woman and the great years they  have shared.  Thanks Helene (his mother-in-law) for raising the world's greatest daughter.
