Henry Colvard was one great man of God! He served my previous church 29 years as pastor before I became pastor.  When you follow a long term man of God, you've got a lot to be thankful for.  Jesus tell brother Henry and miss Kathryn I miss them and can't wait to get to the other side to see them and so many other great servants of God. Until then, as the song says, While I'm waiting I will serve you, While I'm waiting I will worship you."

 

 

One of the fondest memories I have is when Dr. J. Harold Smith, in his living room, had my son and I kneel in front of him and he laid his hands on us and prayed for God's anointing on our lives. No one prayed quite like J. Harold Smith.  Friends like this man of God are to be treasured because they come to an end all too soon.

 

Evangelist Dennis Deese & J. Harold Smith the last year of Dr. Smith's life. He stayed in the Deese home twice the last year of his life.
